“WHAT YOU MADE ME”

Home felt a dream now, one that faded as you tried to grasp it. Only fragments left; soft carpet, warm blankets, a bowl that never quite reached empty. He couldn’t go back, not even if he knew the way.

This is a charity shop statue of a weary traveller that I have upcycled with clay and paint. It is now a Siamese alley cat, down on his luck, and about to cross a moral threshold. It measures roughly 14cm x 11cm x 20cm.
