I’m in my earthworm era. It’s very therapeutic. Rolling out the clay, adding the little grooves, painting them, varnishing them. Happy happy happy. Trays of handmade earthworms, just chilling.
The problem is that, at the end of this process, you are left with handmade earthworms. What do you do with them?
I don’t know, honestly. I didn’t think this far ahead. Earrings? Does the world need earthworm earrings? Do you? Hopefully you do. Hopefully you do, and you don’t have sensitive ears, because I don’t know what the metal is. They came in an art kit I bought years ago and forgot about.
This is the first ever pair of earth worm earrings I have made. The varnish isn’t perfect on the back of the worms but if you’ve read this far and not been deterred you probably aren’t particularly fussy about such things.
